FRASER VALLEY ELEMENTARY RECOGNIZED AS
ONE OF THE TOP PERFORMING SCHOOLS IN THE STATE FOR 2024
Fraser Valley Elementary has been recognized with two of the most prestigious awards granted by the Colorado Department of Education: the Governor’s Distinguished Improvement Award and the John Irwin School of Excellence Award. These honors reflect the school's outstanding academic achievement and exceptional student growth over time.
The Governor’s Distinguished Improvement Award is given to schools that demonstrate exceptional student growth over time. These schools received an Exceeds expectations rating on the Academic Growth indicator of the School Performance Frameworks, reflecting consistently high rates of student
growth in English, Language Arts, Math, and English Language Proficiency.
In addition, Fraser Valley Elementary received the John Irwin School of Excellence Award, which is given to schools that demonstrate exceptional academic achievement over time. These schools received an Exceeds expectations rating on the Academic Achievement indicator of the School Performance Frameworks reflecting exceptional performance in Math, English, Language Arts, and Science.
